The creative process involves using many layers and textures. Overlaying paint, collage, and markmaking, to instil in the composition a sense of place.

Hull is situated on the Humber with the River Hull running through the centre. To one side of the River Hull is the Deep, a submarium sea life centre. A fantastic building, looking like the prow of a ship.
